At the coal mine in the Magadan region, the search for people after the collapse continued all night, over 2 thousand cubic meters of rock were dismantled on site. This was announced on May 1 by the governor of the region Sergey Nosov.

"Heavy machinery managed to dismantle more than 2 thousand cubic meters of rock at the emergency site in the Kadykchansky quarry. The work was not interrupted all night," the publication says in the Telegram channel.

It is specified that in parallel with the rescue operation, operational and investigative actions are continuing, the authorities receive regular reports on the progress of work and coordination of the forces and means involved.

On April 30, the Investigative Committee of Russia published footage from the site of the collapse in a quarry in the Magadan region.

A criminal case was opened in the Magadan region after the mine collapse. The ministry added that now there are several people under the rubble of the mountain masses, and accurate information about the number of victims is being established.

The collapse of the mine in the Magadan region became known on the same day. According to preliminary information from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in the region, up to eight people could be trapped under the rubble. Alexander Nesterovich, the general director of the company where the incident was recorded, linked the incident to a mudslide.
