Medvedev pointed to the threat of equipping UAVs with jet engines
Equipping unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) with jet engines poses a real threat. On April 30, Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, warned about this during a visit to the training center in the Leningrad Military District, a video of which the politician posted on the Vkontakte social network.
"Jet engines are replacing conventional engines. Naturally, drones fly faster. You know what all this leads to, it is a real threat to the state, to the population, and a problem during the fighting," he said.
