Denis Butsaev, the former head of the Russian Environmental Operator (REO), who resigned from the post of Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology, has left the territory of Russia. This was reported on April 30 by the newspaper Vedomosti, citing three sources.

"Butsaev promptly left Russia via Minsk after his resignation order on April 22," the newspaper reports the sources' statements.
