The Russian government has decided not to extend the moratorium on zeroing the damping mechanism after May 1, 2026. This was announced on April 30 by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak.
"As for the moratorium on the damper, given the current situation, we have decided to remain within the framework of current tax legislation for the time being," TASS quoted him as saying.
According to Novak, a separate decision on this issue will be made if necessary.
