A new Esteo car brand has been introduced in Russia
On April 30, AGR Holding and Defetoo announced the launch of a new premium car brand, Esteo, on the Russian market. This is their fourth joint project with partners Tenet, Jeland and Tenet Plus.
It is stated that the Esteo models will be represented by new energy source (NEV) vehicles built on modern platforms and equipped with intelligent systems, as well as models with traditional internal combustion engines.
The cars of the Esteo brand will be produced at the automobile plants of the AGR holding. The automaker promised to reveal other details about the new brand later.
According to unofficial data, Exeed models can be installed on the assembly line of the former General Motors plant located in St. Petersburg under the Esteo brand.
This information is indirectly confirmed by recent reports that the production of Exeed cars from the former Mercedes-Benz plant in Esipovo near Moscow may be transferred to the AGR holding plant in Shushary.
On April 28, AGR announced plans to assemble a new Tenet T4L crossover at a plant in Kaluga. On April 23, the launch of pre-orders for the Jeland J6 crossover was announced, the production of which is organized at the holding's plant in St. Petersburg.
