Rosseti told about participation in the Caucasian Investment Forum

The Caucasian Investment Forum (CIF) was held in Mineralnye Vody, with ROSSETI as its strategic partner. The key event was a meeting with members of the government commission on the socio-economic development of the North Caucasus, which was held by the Head of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin. Andrey Ryumin, head of the ROSSETI group, participated in the event, the company's press service reported.

Alexey Molsky, Deputy General Director, said at a session on energy that in 2021-2025 ROSSETI had allocated about 65 billion rubles for the modernization and development of networks in the North Caucasus. "The need for investments is constantly increasing, which is associated with the outstripping growth of electricity consumption in the North Caucasus Federal District. However, there are many constraints that cannot be eliminated without the active participation of the regions. For example, this is a high depreciation of equipment, a shortage of tariff sources of investment and low payment discipline of consumers, aggravated by the problem of "black" mining," the company explained.

With the support of Rosseti, the session "Point of Attraction – Caucasus" was held, which was conducted by Daria Borisova, the company's Director of Personnel Management and Organizational Development. Recruitment of personnel and reduction of "shadow" employment were discussed with the participation of the authorities of the North Caucasus Federal District.

Natalia Baranyuk, Chief of Staff of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of PJSC ROSSETI, moderated the session "Caucasian Hospitality: Industry Growth Points in the region." The participants noted the high tourism potential of the North Caucasus Federal District, emphasizing the need for infrastructure development.

In addition, the presentation of the "Top" awards took place at the KIF. The ROSSETI Siberia project for the development of infrastructure for electric vehicles is among the winners.

ROSSETI also provided reliable power supply to CIF facilities. Evgeny Lyapunov, Deputy General Director and Chief Engineer of the company, was the chief power engineer of the forum.
