The volume of investments in the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District (NCFD) increased by 10%. This was announced on April 30 by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin at a meeting with the Executive Committee on the socio-economic development of the North Caucasus.
"The volume of investments is steadily increasing. Last year, it increased by 10%. It is close to 1.5 trillion rubles," he said.
Mishustin noted that the district's loan portfolio has increased significantly over the past few years, by about 2.3 times. The number of shipped industrial goods also increased by 5%, which exceeded the national average, he added. The number of small and medium-sized enterprises increased by 10%, which is 2.5 times more than the national average.
