The Ukrainian side did not respond to Moscow's expressed readiness to declare a truce on the occasion of Victory Day celebrations. This was announced on Thursday, April 30, by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"As for the Kiev regime, we have not yet heard a reaction to this," he stated.
