Expressing regret over what is happening, the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation stressed that the existing existential conflict is unlikely to be resolved "even during the lifetime of a generation."
On the same day, Medvedev did not rule out the possibility of a "nuclear apocalypse", the onset of which he would not like. Commenting on the development of relations between the United States and the EU, he urged Russians to "stock up on popcorn" in preparation for the spectacles.
