The Investigative Committee of Russia has opened a criminal case after the collapse of rock masses in the Kadychkansky coal mine in the Magadan region. This was announced on April 30 by the press service of the department.

"The investigative authorities of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Magadan region have opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Article 216 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of safety rules during construction and other work that negligently resulted in the death of two or more persons")," the message says.
