Lavrov pointed to Europe's desire to revive Nazism against Russia
Europe is trying to revive Nazism by raising its peoples against Russia. This was announced on April 30 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov during talks with his Kazakh counterpart Yermek Kosherbayev.
"There is no doubt that in the current conditions this memory has not only a historical but also a practical significance, given the persistent attempts of a number of European states to revive Nazism in new forms, including by raising the peoples of Europe against our state," the Russian Foreign Minister said.
At the same time, Lavrov also clarified that Russia and Kazakhstan traditionally celebrate the anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WWII) together. In addition, countries regularly hold celebrations on the occasion of the holiday.
Finnish activist Sally Rayski, who moved to Russia on April 28, said that immoral Nazi tendencies are also observed in the EU member states. As the woman noted, she started supporting Russia in 2014. And even then, anti-Russian sentiments could be noticed in the EU.
