Ufa Mayor Mavliev was arrested in a case of bribery and abuse of authority.

Ufa Mayor Ratmir Mavliev was taken into custody in a case of abuse of office and receiving a particularly large bribe. This was announced on April 30 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.

It is noted that the defendant was arrested for a period of two months and 13 days in jail.

Mavliev was detained on April 28. According to the investigation, these are illegal actions aimed at alienating municipal land with an area of over 1.3 thousand square meters, which could have been committed using official position.
