The insurer told about the main risks for empty apartments during the May holidays

During the May holidays, when Russians leave their apartments, the number of insurance claims in urban housing increases markedly, with more than 90% of them occurring in bays. This was announced on April 30 at the Rosgosstrakh insurance company.

"According to Rosgosstrakh statistics, it is during the holidays that the number of floods, fires and thefts in empty apartments increases: a house without an owner is a target for trouble," Yulia Serova, head of the property and liability insurance department of the company, told RIA Novosti.
