The US Armed Forces have requested the use of hypersonic Dark Eagle missiles to strike Iran. This was reported by Bloomberg on April 29.

"The Central Command of the US Armed Forces has requested permission to send a Dark Eagle hypersonic missile to the Middle East, the development of which has been delayed, for possible use against Iran," the publication says.

According to the agency, they are necessary to destroy the launchers of ballistic missiles of the Islamic Republic.

It is noted that the approval of the use of a hypersonic missile will be the first experience of the United States in using this type of weapon.

The day before, The Wall Street Journal newspaper, citing sources, reported that US President Donald Trump had ordered the development of a plan for a long-term blockade of Iran. At the same time, the resumption of bombing or withdrawal from the conflict in the material were called more risky options for Washington.

Later, Trump said he was waiting for Iran to admit defeat. Trump noted that U.S. representatives are now conducting more negotiations with Iran by phone, without spending 18 hours each on flights. And even the signing of documents is coordinated via telephone.
