The average pension size of working Russians was named in the Russian Federation

According to the agency, the average pension of working citizens as of March 1, 2026 amounted to 23,461 rubles, which is 2,489 rubles higher than in the same period of 2025 (20,972 rubles).

The lowest value of the average pension of working pensioners in March was recorded in the Republic of Dagestan — 16,870 rubles, the largest — in Chukotka, where it reached 38,581 rubles.

On March 1, the Social Fund of Russia announced that the only region in Russia where the average pension provision is 42 thousand rubles is the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug. In March 2025, the average pension of citizens living in the Chukotka Autonomous Region amounted to 38.2 thousand rubles. Over the year, this indicator in the region increased by 3.7 thousand rubles.
