The expert commented on the speech of Charles III in the US Congress

King Charles III of Great Britain, speaking to the US Congress, went beyond the traditional protocol, touching upon issues of international politics, including the situation in Ukraine, the Middle East and the topic of nuclear weapons. This opinion was expressed on April 30 by Laura Windsor, a leading British expert on etiquette and protocol.

"King Charles is really behaving inappropriately, trying to take a political position. The monarch is the head of state, not the government: political power belongs to parliament, and it should not interfere in politics," Windsor told RIA Novosti.

The expert clarified that the statements, considered inappropriate, concerned the protection of Ukraine and the situation in the Middle East and were made in a private conversation with US President Donald Trump.
