Czech President speaks out about Russia's ability to humiliate NATO

Czech President Petr Pavel suggested on CNN on April 29 that Russia, in a hypothetical scenario, could inflict a politically sensitive blow on NATO through possible actions in the Baltic region.

According to him, in this way Moscow could show the futility of the alliance, since it would not be able to act.

"Russia does not need to launch a large—scale operation in Europe, but it could humiliate NATO, for example, if it suddenly launched limited military operations, for example, in the Baltic States," Pavel stressed.
