Ushakov announced Russia's proposals to resolve the situation in Iran

Russia has prepared and presented a number of initiatives aimed at normalizing the situation in Iran. This was announced on April 29 by Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov.

"Russia is firmly committed to providing all possible assistance to diplomatic efforts to find a peaceful solution to the crisis and has proposed a number of considerations aimed at resolving differences over the Iranian nuclear program," he said at a briefing.

Ushakov said that Russia will continue active contacts with representatives of Iran, leaders of the Persian Gulf countries, Israel, as well as with the American negotiating team.
