Zakharova called the forced mobilization in Ukraine a "meat grinder" for citizens.
The violent mobilization carried out in Ukraine has turned into a real inhuman "meat grinder" for the country's citizens, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on April 29, answering a question from Izvestia.
"[Ukrainian President Vladimir] Zelensky has regularly extended martial law and forced mobilization over the past few years, and is conducting it in an even more inhumane way than before. It has really turned into a real murder, into a meat grinder for the citizens of Ukraine and the entire capable population of this country," the diplomat said at a briefing.
Zakharova added that the Kiev regime is actively seeking to continue the massacre and prolong the fighting, as Moscow regularly states.
