A criminal case has been opened against the former head of the Kyrgyz secret service.

A criminal case was opened against Kamchybek Tashiev, the former head of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan, on April 29.

"I am appealing in connection with the criminal case brought against me. This morning, information appeared about this and many people express concern about it," he wrote on the social network Facebook (owned by Meta, recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation and banned).
