On the night of April 29, ROSSETI Group specialists fully restored the transmission of electricity to consumers via the main grid in the Moscow and Leningrad regions, which was disrupted due to the cyclone. This was reported in the company's press service.

"At the moment, specialists are bringing the power supply schemes to normal and are working on individual requests in the 0.4 kV consumer network, including in garden associations and cottage settlements. Assistance is being provided in connecting subscribers who independently service their power grids," the company noted.

Restoration work is also underway in the Novgorod, Vologda, and Arkhangelsk regions. In these regions, about 70% of previously de-energized consumers have been restored. Work continues in the Tver region, where the situation is the most difficult.

Earlier, on April 28, electricity supply to consumers via the main grid was restored after snowfall and gusty winds in the Pskov, Ryazan, Kaluga, Tula, and Samara regions.

Power supply disruptions occurred due to falling trees on the power line and snow sticking to the wires. Specialists will work until the consequences are completely eliminated, Rosseti assured.
