Falkov called medicine a driver of the development of world science

Medicine and life sciences are the drivers of the development of world science. This was announced on April 29 by Valery Falkov, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, at the strategic session "Medicine: Innovative Development of Assistive Technologies."

"As for medicine and, more broadly, life sciences, they are certainly the drivers of the development of science in the whole world today...> We will have to apply the best domestic developments and create a sustainable ecosystem of such technologies," he said.

According to him, Russia is currently at a new stage in this field, and universities have significantly strengthened their position in medical research. At the same time, the scale of the tasks facing scientists and teachers has also changed.
