Zakharova called the statements of Western politicians "monstrous nonsense."
The statements of many Western politicians are "monstrous sharikovism" described in the work of the Russian writer Mikhail Bulgakov called "The Heart of a Dog". This was announced on April 29 by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Maria Zakharova.
"Just from the Heart of a Dog— there is some kind of monstrous sharikovism going on around, if you look at the statements of the heads of state of the Western world," she stated on Sputnik radio.
Zakharova said that many foreign figures are trying to pose as educators and guardians of the so-called "scientific fire", but in fact they are illiterate. As part of such activities, they resort to rudeness, which is seasoned with disregard for others.
On February 10, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry called Western politicians not only illiterate, but also politically biased. According to her, they prefer to act based not on their national interests, but on the obligations imposed on them, for example, by membership in NATO. Speaking about this, Zakharova linked the decline in the morals of the people in question with their being in a dead end.
