King Charles III of Great Britain presented US President Donald Trump with a symbolic gift — a bell from a former British Navy submarine, as part of an official visit. This was reported by CNN on April 29.

Charles III noted that he was handing over to Trump the original bell, which was previously located on the conning tower of a submarine with the same name, emphasizing the connection between the historical heritage of the two countries and their allied relations.

"I am pleased to give you as a personal gift the original bell that hung on the wheelhouse of your valiant namesake. Let this be a testimony to the common history of our country and a bright future. If you ever need to contact us, just give us a call!" said the monarch.
