Due to the shortage of manpower, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) hire everyone as mercenaries without any selection. This was announced on April 29 by a source connected with the Colombian recruitment market in Ukraine and the Middle East.

"The conflict has reached such a stage of degeneration that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are recruiting everyone... The main thing is that the mercenary wants to serve there, because there are not enough Ukrainian manpower in the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the source concluded in an interview with RIA Novosti.
