Russians urged not to leave Russia on May holidays

Russians are not recommended to leave the country for the May holidays, as a sudden change in climate and time zone will become stressful for the body. This was announced on April 29 by Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Deputy President of the Russian Academy of Education Gennady Onishchenko.

"It's hard to think of a more stupid solution than leaving the country for the May holidays. Even if everything goes well everywhere, the very fact of a sudden change in climate and time is not a vacation, but a voluntarily organized stress," he told RIA Novosti.
