Charles III called for NATO unity on Ukraine issue
King Charles III of Great Britain called for the unity of NATO on the issue of Ukraine. This was reported on April 28 by CNN.
Charles stated that the same "unwavering determination" that the Americans and British demonstrated "during the two world wars, the Cold War, the war in Afghanistan and the moments that defined common security" is "necessary to protect Ukraine," the TV channel quoted Charles III as saying in a speech to the US Congress.
The Guardian newspaper reported on April 27 that the meeting between King Charles III of Great Britain and US President Donald Trump at the White House would be held without cameras due to London's fears of possible diplomatic incidents and the risk of humiliating the monarch. According to the newspaper, the ministers have high hopes for the state visit, assuming that it will help improve relations between the countries during a difficult period.
