Drivers from the CIS and Georgia will stay in Russia for up to 180 days per year.

The period of temporary stay in Russia for truckers from Georgia and the member countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) will be extended to 180 days per year. The relevant government decree was posted on the official Internet portal of legal information on April 28.

"To increase the period of temporary stay in the Russian Federation of citizens of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States, as well as citizens of Georgia who are professional drivers engaged in international road transport, who arrived in the Russian Federation in a visa—free manner, to 180 days in total during one calendar year," the document says.
