Putin instructed to strictly stop provocations before the elections

Russian authorities, law enforcement agencies and special services must resolutely stop attempts at provocations during the pre-election period, Russian President Vladimir Putin warned on April 28.

"Attempts to commit acts of sabotage and terrorism and manifestations of an extremist nature must be suppressed in the most decisive and harsh manner," he said.

The Head of State stressed that such provocations are possible during the pre-election period, including, according to him, with the participation of external forces.
