About the work of the ambulance

He also added that ambulance staff continuously carry out their professional watch and are at the forefront of the fight for people's lives and health every day.

About financing and technology

Context

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin previously spoke on the Maks messenger about updating the ambulance fleet in the capital, noting that it had been replenished with 350 new-generation vehicles for general-purpose brigades.

According to him, the vehicles were developed with the participation of experts from the Moscow Ambulance Service as part of a grant program from the Moscow Government. Among the key features of the technology are: a patented universal railing system for attaching medical equipment; swivel and folding chairs; an increased displacement amplitude of the stretcher for full access to the patient; a well‑thought-out shelving system; convenient zoned lighting; increased cabin height, thanks to which doctors can work standing at full height.

He also emphasized that the Moscow ambulance is one of the most efficient in the world: on average, 4 million visits are made per year, about 12 thousand per day. He also added that the service is constantly being improved — modern technologies are being introduced, the brigades are equipped with advanced equipment.
