The death toll from a fire in a building under construction in the north of Moscow has increased to eight people. This was announced on April 28 by a source of Izvestia.

The number of victims remains the same — 12 people. The Ministry of Emergency Situations managed to rescue 31 people from the building.

The fire in the building under construction in Ambulatory Passage in the capital began on the morning of the same day. Later it was reported that the fire was eliminated on an area of 1.4 thousand square meters.m.

A criminal case has been opened in the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in Moscow under Part 3 of Article 216 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of safety rules during construction work, which negligently resulted in the death of two or more persons").
