Sobyanin spoke about the renewal of the ambulance fleet in Moscow
The Moscow ambulance fleet has been replenished with 350 new-generation vehicles for general-purpose brigades. This was announced by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin in his channel in the Maks messenger, congratulating the service staff on their professional holiday — the Day of Emergency Medical Workers.
According to Sobyanin, the Moscow ambulance is one of the most efficient in the world: on average, 4 million trips are made per year, about 12 thousand per day. The service is constantly being improved — modern technologies are being introduced, the teams are equipped with advanced equipment. "The park is currently undergoing a large—scale renovation with new—generation machines - their space is as ergonomic as possible, all equipment is at arm's length," the head of the capital said.
In May last year, 80 innovative reanimobiles began operating at the A.S. Puchkov Ambulance and Emergency Medical Care Station, Sobyanin recalled. According to him, the new supplies will help make the work of doctors even more efficient, and the conditions for patients more comfortable.
The mayor noted that the new vehicles were developed with the participation of experts from the Moscow Ambulance Service as part of a grant program from the Moscow government. In particular, the machines have a patented universal railing system for attaching medical equipment, which can be quickly removed or re-hung.
In addition, the vehicles have swivel and folding chairs, an increased displacement range of stretchers for full access to the patient, a shelving system and convenient zoned lighting. The cabin height has been increased — doctors can work standing up, Sobyanin said.
