Ufa Mayor was detained on suspicion of corruption and abuse of office

Ufa Mayor Ratmir Mavliev was detained in a case of abuse of office and receiving a particularly large bribe. This was announced on Tuesday, April 28, by the press service of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Bashkortostan.

"The head of the Ufa city district administration has been detained on suspicion of committing crimes under clauses "c", "d", and "e" of Part 3 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Abuse of official authority") and Part 6 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Receiving a particularly large bribe")," — the UK statement says.

According to the investigation, we are talking about illegal actions with municipal land that could have been committed using official position.
