- Germany pointed to increased pressure on Kiev due to a loan from the European Union of € 90 billion.
The loan, which was provided to Ukraine by representatives of the European Union (EU) in the amount of €90 billion, increases the pressure exerted on it by funds based in the territory of the alliance. This was reported on Monday, April 27, by the German newspaper Berliner Zeitung (BZ), citing sources.
"Ukraine is facing an acute financial crisis. <...> At the same time, growing dependence on European funds is increasing pressure on the Ukrainian leadership," the article says.
