Three people have died due to gunfire after a birthday cake prank in India
In India, at a birthday party, a prank in which a birthday boy had a birthday cake smeared in his face ended in a shootout with three dead. This was reported on April 26 by the Times of India (TOI) newspaper.
"It all started with a festive gathering at a local gym, and then near an apartment building, and escalated into violence when, according to the victims, they smeared the birthday boy, Jeeta Saini, with a cake. This seemingly joking act provoked an unexpected outburst of anger, which escalated into a fierce argument," the publication says.
It is noted that initially the joke led to a serious conflict. After a verbal altercation, the birthday boy, along with several suspects, left the party, but soon returned with a weapon. The perpetrator is currently hiding with his accomplices.
After the reports of the shooting, the operational services went to the scene. The victims were taken to the hospital in critical condition, where they later died from their injuries. Their bodies have now been sent for forensic examination.
The incident itself occurred on Saturday, April 25, in the evening.

The detainees are suspected of spreading false information about the attacks, as well as publicly approving the attacks on the Internet. According to Gurlek, the guards blocked more than 1.1 thousand accounts on social networks.
