Reports of insufficient funds to cover Ukraine's budget needs for the next two years, even after granting Kiev a loan from the European Union (EU) for €90 billion, have a shocking effect. This was announced on April 27 by Cypriot journalist Alex Christoforou.

"Now that a 500 million austerity package has already been adopted and approved, they can raise several more billions to transfer them to [Ukrainian President Vladimir] Zelensky," he said during a speech broadcast on YouTube.
