Phased overhaul of the perinatal center starts in Krasnokamensk

A phased overhaul of the perinatal center of regional hospital No. 4 is starting in Krasnokamensk in the Trans-Baikal Territory. This is reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Health.

In 2026, work will start on the second floor of the institution, where the operating rooms are located. In general, the overhaul project of the perinatal center is designed for several years and will be implemented in stages.

"We have already prepared to carry out repairs in such a way as not to stop the process of providing medical care. This is especially important, given that the operating unit is located on the second floor," said Sergey Varvansky, acting chief physician of the hospital, quoted by ChitaMedia news agency.

This year, the renovation is taking place under the program for the modernization of primary health care, which is part of the national project "Long and active life."

Earlier in the spring, it was reported that according to one of the national projects in Transbaikalia, more than 250 km of regional roads will be repaired this year. The work will take place at 29 sites in 17 municipalities.
