The PSB told about the expansion of the functionality of the social card of a resident of the region

The resident's social card is a convenient tool for accessing the digital infrastructure of the region, which simplifies the provision of services, increases transparency in the use of budget funds and helps to provide more targeted support measures to those who need them in the first place. This was stated by Alexey Shchavelev, Senior Vice President and head of the retail business unit of PSB, speaking at the session "How can social projects be turned into an effective tool for stimulating the economy of the regions?" of the VIII financial forum "Just Capital", organized with the support of the bank.

"The Resident's Card project combines in one tool a banking loyalty program, discounts from regional partners and the opportunity to take advantage of benefits at the time of payment, if such a support measure is provided. For humans, this is an understandable and convenient scenario: everything works automatically, without unnecessary actions and complex procedures. Today, a person should not look for a benefit — the benefit should "find" the person at the moment when he makes the payment," said Alexey Shchavelev.

According to the expert, today the resident's card is a popular way for most Russian citizens to receive various public and social services. PSB, actively participating in the economic and infrastructural development of Russian regions, earlier this year offered residents of the Yaroslavl Region a new tool - the Yaroslavl Region Resident Card for access to various loyalty programs and regional initiatives.

"When creating the Yaroslavl Region Resident's Map, we combined the best market practices and adapted them to the region's challenges. At the same time, any social project works only when it takes into account the interests of the state, business and the person himself. This balance makes it possible to solve the problems of residents faster and form a sustainable model for the development of the region," concluded Shchavelev.
