A civilian was seriously injured after stepping on a mine in the village of Nehoteyevka, Belgorod region. This was announced by Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov on April 27.

"There is a tragedy in the village of Nehoteyevka in the Shebekinsky district: a man was seriously injured after stepping on a mine on his property. With a mine-explosion injury and a traumatic amputation of his lower leg, he was taken to the Shebekinsky CRH," he wrote on the Telegram channel.

According to the governor, the doctors assessed the man's condition as serious. The victim is currently undergoing surgery.

In the village of Kurkovichi, Bryansk region, on April 21, a woman was killed when a petal mine was detonated by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The governor of the region, Alexander Bogomaz, expressed his condolences to the family and friends of the deceased, and also stressed that they would receive all necessary financial assistance.
