The Federation Council named a condition for the dismissal of a pensioner without work

A pensioner can resign without a mandatory two—week work period if the official reason in the application is "due to retirement." This was announced on April 27 by Senator Igor Murog.

"However, you can use the benefit only once: if a pensioner has already quit for this reason, and then got a job again, you will have to work for two weeks on a general basis (Article 80 of the Labor Code of Russia)," he warned in an interview with RT.

Murorg clarified that the right to be dismissed without work is enshrined in the Labor Code. In this case, the employer is obliged to issue a dismissal order and make all payments on the same day.
