The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) began attacking Hezbollah targets in the Bekaa Valley (an area 30 km south of Beirut) and in southern Lebanon. This was announced on April 27 by the IDF press service on its page on the social network X (former. Twitter).

"The Israel Defense Forces began attacking the infrastructure of the Hezbollah terrorist organization in the Bekaa Valley and in several areas in southern Lebanon," the publication said.

A few hours earlier, the army's press service also reported airstrikes in the Bint Jubail area.

On April 27, the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that 14 people, including two children, had been killed in airstrikes by the Israel Defense Forces in southern Lebanon over the past day. It is noted that 37 more people are listed as injured.

The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reported yesterday that the Israel Defense Forces had ordered strikes against Hezbollah targets in Lebanon. This decision was made in connection with the firing of rockets and drones into the territories of Northern Israel, as well as troops stationed in southern Lebanon.
