Nine wildfires were eliminated in Primorye over the weekend

Last weekend, nine wildfires with a total area of 543 hectares were eliminated in the Primorsky Territory. This is reported by the regional government.

According to the Ministry of Forestry of Primorye, on Saturday, April 25, five fires were active on the lands of the forest fund. The outbreaks occurred in the forestry areas of the Ussuriysky gorokrug, Dalnerechensky, Krasnoarmeysky and Partizansky municipal districts. The total area of forest fires was 131 hectares.

On the same day, three landscape fires were recorded on lands of other categories in the Ussuriysky, Yakovlevsky districts and the Spassk-Dalny district. Their area at the same time amounted to 410 hectares, PrimaMedia news agency clarifies.

And the last, ninth landscape fire occurred on Sunday in Nakhodka gorokrug. It was eliminated on an area of 2 hectares.

The Ministry of Forestry notes that in all nine cases, human actions led to fires.

Last weekend, 58 wildfires were registered in Primorsky Krai. The total area covered by the fire exceeded 1.3 thousand hectares.
