Two powerful Class M flares occurred on the Sun during the night and Monday morning. The relevant information is published on the website of the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy of the Space Research Institute (IRI) RAN on April 27.

It is noted that strong outbreaks were recorded at 1:57 Moscow time and at 9:45 Moscow time. Experts assigned the score M6.0 to the first event, M1.0 to the second.

In addition, according to the information provided, since midnight on Monday, the star has produced 14 ordinary Class C flares.

On April 24, the IKI RAS reported that a flare of the highest score, X2.5, was registered on the Sun. According to the institute, the flare was accompanied by a large plasma release. However, the center of the explosion was shifted to the edge of the Sun, and the plasma went sideways, because of this, there is a high probability that the event will be neutral for the Earth.
