In Turkey, a man died after being bitten by a tick due to Congo-Crimean hemorrhagic fever (CCHF). This was reported by the DHA news agency on April 27.

"During the examination, Gulsun was diagnosed with HCG. <...> Gulsun, who was continuing treatment in the intensive care unit of anesthesiology, died last night," the publication says.
