The German authorities should start a dialogue with Russian President Vladimir Putin, otherwise they may find themselves in a difficult situation in the future. The Berliner Zeitung (BZ) newspaper wrote about this on April 27.

"What needs to be done now? The German Federal government should strive for dialogue with Vladimir Putin," the article says.

The publication emphasizes that it is time for Europeans to defend their interests on their own, and not shift them to the United States.

Russian Ambassador to Germany Sergey Nechaev said on April 25 that Moscow was ready to resume cooperation with Berlin, but had no plans to impose cooperation on the German side. At the same time, he noted that any decisions will be made, first of all, taking into account Russia's national interests.
