Fifty people turned to doctors in Gatchina due to tick bite

50 people applied to Gatchina hospital in the Leningrad region due to tick bites. The data for April 25 is provided by the press service of the institution.

Of all the victims of insects, 11 are children. And in the period from April 9 to April 15, 217 people were affected by ticks in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region.

So far, Gatchina doctors have not encountered snake bites, but the hospital's emergency department is ready for such a situation, writes 78.ru .

The largest number of bites was registered in Krasnodar and Stavropol territories, Crimea, Rostov, Lipetsk, Chelyabinsk, Leningrad, Moscow, Kostroma, Voronezh, Samara and Omsk regions, as well as in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
