Promises of guaranteed profits in a short time and demands to make an advance payment are clear signs of fraud with investments in messengers. This was announced on April 27 in the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

"Signs of fraud in these categories are promises of guaranteed profits in a short time, pressure on urgency ("the campaign is ending," "last places"), the requirement to deposit money for a "start," the press center reports.

The ministry stressed that attackers often ask victims to apply for a loan or installment plan, ostensibly to complete the task. As noted in the press center, in order to protect yourself from scammers, you should ignore offers for easy earnings, as well as not deposit funds into various bots.

Galaktion Kuchava, an expert on the Moshelovka platform of the Popular Front, reported earlier in the day that fraudsters began transferring money to Russian cards, and then asking for a refund via messengers. It is specified that fulfilling such a request may lead to the blocking of bank cards and accounts. The expert added that in this case it is necessary to contact your bank at the official number, inform about the uncoordinated receipt of funds and ask for an official refund using the sender's details.
