With a five-day working week in May, Russians will have 19 working days and 12 days off. This was announced on April 27 by Igor Balynin, Associate Professor of the Department of Public Finance at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.

"As of May 2026, there will be 19 working days and 12 days off out of 31 calendar days," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
