The State Duma recalled the early transfer of a single benefit in April.

A single benefit will be transferred to Russian families ahead of schedule in connection with the May holidays, since the scheduled transfer date falls on non-working days. This was announced on April 27 by Svetlana Bessarab, a member of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs.

"Since the payment of a single benefit is carried out on the 3rd of each month, and the period from May 1 to May 3 falls on holidays and weekends, the allowance for Russian families will be paid the day before, on April 30," Bessarab said.

The deputy clarified that families of almost 10 million children receive a single allowance in Russia. According to her, the postponement of the transfer date is related to the general rule of payments before weekends and holidays.

Bessarab added that the same procedure applies to recipients of other social benefits, salaries and pensions. If the transfer date falls on the period from May 1 to May 3, from May 9 to May 11, or on other days off, the money must be received no later than the last business day before it.

Payments will be received at the end of April.

Anton Kotyakov, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, announced on April 21 that the Social Fund of Russia will review payments to large families at the end of May 2026. The Minister noted that families who had not previously received a single benefit due to an excess income of up to 10% would receive a payment of 50% of the regional subsistence minimum for 12 months.
