The State Duma told about a fraudulent scheme with alleged assistance in making family payments

The attackers began calling Russians under the guise of specialists, offering money for help in making a new family tax payment. Dmitry Svishchev, a State Duma deputy, told about this on April 27.

"Specialists may call you and promise to help you receive a new family tax payment for a small prepayment. This is a hoax. If you are asked to transfer money for "registration" — hang up. These are scammers," Svishchev said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

The parliamentarian recalled that this procedure is carried out free of charge. To receive the payment, you must contact the Gosuslugi portal, the MFC or the Social Fund.

According to Svishchev, there are no commissions or intermediaries involved in making the payment.
